We had a quiet afternoon on Wednesday so I dug into one of those Save it for a Rainy Day boxes, not that rain is on the horizon here. I found and added several Coleman Cottage Royal Millennium patterns, and this prompted a Janna guided tour of the pieces she made from the series. This is the February pattern set in a Sudberry hand mirror rather than made into a ball. She has another in a frame, also lovely. Little touches of needlepoint are all around the house, making for a more gracious feeling. Have a look at these patterns, and give counted needlepoint a try. I can help you get started so that I can stitch vicariously through you!
I will be boarding a plane in a few hours and back here August 5. One more break to meet cousins and go to baseball games in Michigan.
Most summer breaks since high school!
Happy stitching,
Norla
