As one who lost her mother early in life, I am certain I was drawn to this work in order to have a constant supply of role models. There have been many, chief among them Janna, of course, and next was Barbara Stein. Barbara made it to her nineties with no loss of wit, memory, or passion for what she thought was right. As has happened with the loss other customers and friends, her stash of projects was brought to my door. I sort through them from time to time, and today was the day to commit to completing this 20"x24" beauty. Barbara did all the outlines, and now I will do the fun part. It is as if she masked the trim and I will do the painting. I count myself among the lucky in many ways, never needing to buy a new project is one.
